Structure of Animal Bedding Pellet Mill
The feeding system, conditioning system, granulation system and transmission system of this equipment work together to ensure the production requirements of continuous granulation.

Feeding System
Using a variable frequency feeder and a forced feeder ensures that raw materials such as sawdust and wood shavings enter the pellet mill evenly and smoothly, effectively preventing material agglomeration and blockage, thereby significantly improving production efficiency. Meanwhile, the equipped anti-arching device allows for flexible adjustment of the feeding speed. Operation is simple and convenient, reducing manual intervention.
Modulation System
The conditioner is made of 304 stainless steel and uses axial steam injection to thoroughly mature and sterilize the materials. The high-temperature steam softens the wood fibers and activates the adhesive properties of natural lignin, significantly improving the compactness of the bedding particles. Furthermore, the system’s multi-layer conditioner extends the residence time of the materials within the conditioner, resulting in more hygienic, odorless, and higher-quality bedding.
Pelletizing System
The core components are made of highly wear-resistant and high-quality materials. The ring die and pressure roller work together efficiently to form uniform granules of 4-12mm from the pre-treated material under high-pressure compression technology. The ring die features a convenient replacement design, which can flexibly adjust the granule size to adapt to different animal farming scenarios. It has high granulation efficiency, low energy consumption, uniform granule formation, and strong water absorption.
Drive System
Employing a direct-drive gear structure, this system offers higher transmission efficiency compared to traditional belt drives. A Siemens motor directly drives the main shaft via the gearbox, ensuring stable torque output suitable for long-term heavy-duty operation. The core bearings are from the imported SKF brand, and the gears undergo carburizing and quenching treatment for improved wear resistance and impact resistance. The machine operates smoothly with low noise, significantly reducing maintenance frequency and operating costs.

The complete animal bedding pellet processing workflow includes raw material cleaning, crushing, drying,mixing, pelletizing, cooling,screening and packaging.
Raw Material Cleaning Section
A rotary drum pre-cleaner is used to remove impurities carried in raw materials such as rice husks, wood shavings, and sawdust, preventing them from wearing out the equipment.
Crushing & Drying Section
The cleaned raw materials are then fed into a hammer mill for crushing.The material is dried in a rotary dryer in preparation for subsequent granulation.
Pelletizing Section
The dried material, meeting the moisture requirements for granulation, enters the pelletizing chamber, where the pellet mill forms it into uniformly sized pellets.
Cooling Section
The counterflow cooler cools the pad material particles to room temperature.
Screening Section
