Product Introduction
Addressing the high nitrogen and high moisture characteristics of chicken manure, the chicken manure granulator employs a low-temperature, high-airflow drying process capable of effectively preserving the organic matter and beneficial live bacteria contained within. The granulation molding rate reaches as high as 98%, producing uniform and compact granules.
Suitable for large-scale poultry farms, organic fertilizer processing plants, and agricultural waste resource utilization projects.

Avoid clogging
It employs a vertical chain crusher featuring a screenless design, effectively resolving the issue of wet chicken manure clogging. A pneumatic tapping mechanism mounts on top of the rotary screen. It strikes the screen surface automatically to effectively dislodge wet fibers that stick to it.
The screen allows fine powder to flow smoothly into the next processing stage, and conveys oversized retained particles back to the pulverizer through a return screw, forming a closed-loop circulation system.
Superior Pellet Quality
The granulation stage employs a specialized granulator featuring a precisely matched ring die and pressure roller assembly. The compression ratio of the ring die can be customized according to the specific characteristics of the raw materials, while the surface of the pressure rollers undergoes special treatment to enhance material gripping capabilities.
Steam conditioning ensures thorough maturation of the material, resulting in finished pellets with a low pulverization rate and a smooth surface.
Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction
The granulator utilizes a gearbox transmission system to replace traditional belt drives; the gearbox features precision-ground gears, resulting in a shorter power transmission path and smooth, quiet operation. Additionally, the drying stage employs a low-temperature, high-airflow process, ensuring high thermal efficiency.
The PLC control system enables real-time monitoring of key parameters, ensuring that the equipment consistently operates within the optimal energy consumption range.

The entire processing workflow—from pulverizing to packaging—utilizes a closed-loop conveying system, effectively minimizing dust spillage. Drive
Variable-Frequency
The feeding system adopts a combined design of arch-breaking feeder and forced feeder. The arch-breaking feeder features a power range of 2.2–4 kW, effectively preventing material bridging inside the hopper. The forced feeder runs at 0.75–1.5 kW, which evenly conveys materials into the pelleting chamber to avoid blockages. It ensures continuous and stable feeding and perfectly adapts to the high viscosity of chicken manure materials.
Mixing Unit
High-Quality Stainless Steel
Chicken manure features high nitrogen content. After fermentation, it needs to be uniformly blended with auxiliary materials such as straw to adjust the carbon-nitrogen ratio. The mixing unit adopts a ribbon blender with continuous discharging capability. Its patented blade design enhances material flow, shearing and mixing performance, making it especially suitable for high-moisture wet materials after fermentation.
Granulation Main Unit
Intelligent and Efficient
The pelleting main unit adopts the FZLH series organic fertilizer pellet mill. It comes with a ring die inner diameter of 250–762 mm and a main motor power ranging from 22 kW to 250 kW. Given the low fiber content of chicken manure, it is equipped with high-precision gear transmission. The ring die undergoes special heat treatment to resist cracking. The pellet forming rate reaches over 98%, with finished pellet diameters adjustable from 4 mm to 12 mm.

Fermentation
After mixing chicken manure with carbon sources such as crop straw, microbial inoculants are added to initiate fermentation. A compost turner periodically turns the material to facilitate the decomposition of organic matter, deodorization, and sterilization.
Crushing
Materials are pulverized using a vertical wet-material chain crusher featuring a screenless design, followed by drum screening.
Mixing
Utilizing a belt scale batching system and a ribbon mixer, the fermented chicken manure and inorganic nutrients are mixed in precise proportions.
Granulation
The FZLH series granulator for organic fertilizers features a ring-die and roller structure, achieving a molding rate of up to 98%.
Drying and Cooling
After granulation, the pellets enter a rotary dryer; a self-constructed hot air furnace can be utilized as the heat source. Following drying, they are cooled to room temperature using a counter-flow cooler.
Screening and Packaging
The cooled granules are classified by a vibrating screen, and the qualified granules proceed to the automatic packaging system.

Can organic fertilizer pellet mills produce both pellet fertilizer and powder fertilizer?
Yes, achievable by adjusting production workflow.For powdered organic fertilizer: Fermented and crushed materials bypass the pellet mill and directly enter screening and packaging, while the pellet mill can remain standby for pellet production.For pellet organic fertilizer: Activate the pellet mill; materials go through pelleting, drying, cooling and screening before final packaging.
Can a chicken manure pelletizer directly process fresh chicken manure?
We do not recommend doing so. Fresh chicken manure has a moisture content as high as 70%–80% and requires prior dehydration or fermentation treatment. We can configure a pre-dehydrator for materials with high moisture content.
Is the equipment sensitive to impurities in chicken manure, such as feathers and pebbles?
The front end of the production line is equipped with a rotary pre-cleaning screen and a permanent magnetic drum, which effectively remove stones and ferrous impurities. Any small amount of feathers present will be severed during the crushing stage and will not interfere with the pelletizing process.
Can the equipment simultaneously process manure from other types of livestock?
Yes. Our equipment is designed with versatility in mind and can process materials such as pig and sheep manure; it simply requires adjusting the fermentation cycle and the ring die compression ratio.
