Animal Feed Mill Project

The customer had plenty of cottonseed meal and alfalfa grass resources. But they struggled to use them efficiently. We designed a special grass meal pellet mill for them. It solved the clogging problem of high-fiber materials.

RICHI equipped the line with a high-power ring die pellet mill and an automatic batching system, which runs with high automation while also meeting the daily consumption of large feedlots.

The customer had very high requirements for environmental protection and automation. They had to meet EU standards. For this, we developed a fully enclosed noise-reduction workshop solution. It also integrated a pulse dust collection system.

The customer focused on the “fresh meat” concept. They worried that high heat would destroy nutrition. We configured a twin-screw extruder and optimized the drying process by using low-temperature slow baking to minimize as much as possible the loss of heat-sensitive nutrients, thus preserving the natural flavor of fresh meat.

We designed high-pressure pelletizing and nitrogen packaging, so the dog food has high calories and good storage stability, making it very suitable for large dogs to maintain body temperature in winter.

The customer had very high requirements for product appearance, so RICHI provided high-precision shaped dies combined with 304 food-grade stainless steel equipment, making the treats not only good-looking but also effective for rabbit teeth grinding.

Hamster food contains various small seeds. They are easy to break. We used flexible conveying and low-breakage mixing technology to ensure that raw materials like sunflower seeds and millet remain whole and plump after processing.

The pet staple food market in Spain is trending toward high-end and natural products. The customer urgently needed a production line capable of handling high fresh meat slurry formulas. The line features a twin-screw extrusion system and a fresh meat slurry injection unit, achieving a fresh meat inclusion rate of up to 30% and producing uniformly shaped kibbles.
