Can organic fertilizer pellet mills produce both pellet fertilizer and powder fertilizer?
Yes, achievable by adjusting production workflow.For powdered organic fertilizer: Fermented and crushed materials bypass the pellet mill and directly enter screening and packaging, while the pellet mill can remain standby for pellet production.For pellet organic fertilizer: Activate the pellet mill; materials go through pelleting, drying, cooling and screening before final packaging.
What is the difference between forced feeder and arch-breaking feeder on FZLH series?
The arch-breaking feeder is installed at the hopper bottom, designed to eliminate material bridging — almost essential for bridging-prone organic fertilizer materials.The forced feeder is installed after the arch-breaking unit and before the pressing chamber, pushing materials steadily into the ring die and preventing material backflow, especially critical for lightweight and bulky stalk raw materials.
Does organic fertilizer granulation require the addition of steam? What is the role of steam?
Adding steam is not strictly necessary, but it can significantly optimize the production process. High-temperature steam can kill harmful bacteria in raw materials and remove manure odors; at the same time, it softens hard materials such as straw and fibers, reducing wear on the ring die and pressure rollers and lowering energy consumption; steam condensation can also replenish moisture and increase material viscosity, resulting in better pellet forming.
Why do organic fertilizer granules easily scatter or have a high powder content?
The following factors may be the cause: incomplete fermentation, excessive straw content in the raw materials, improper moisture content during pelleting, insufficient ring die compression ratio, or excessive gap between the pressure roller and the ring die.
